SDCC is involved with the fishing anglers community at the Southwestern Yacht Club. My father was a lifetime member at the yacht club. He ran the SWYC Dock Fishing tournament for many long years. Now that my father has passed my brother and I run the tournament.

Bernard Jaffe Memorial Dock Fishing Tournament
The Dock Fishing Tournament at Southwestern Yacht Club is still going strong after 40 years. So many children have come through this tournament year after year. All of them are winners. My dad loved to fish and more importantly loved to teach children. He took so much pleasure in watching kids light up after catching a fish.
Reelentless Fishing Boat
The Reelentless, Skipjack 35 is the company fishing boat. We spend almost every weekend fishing during the summer and fall season. We are out for Tuna, Dorado, & Yellowtail. We compete in the Marlin Club and Southwestern Yacht Club fishing tournaments. We love to fish in San Diego as that is the roots of our company. We are a San Diego company. Most of us are natives and love this city. Fishing and our ocean is a BIG part of who we are.
Southwestern Yacht Club Anglers
Glen Jaffe is the President and Webmaster of the Southwestern Anglers Board. The Southwestern Anglers are a commitee that focuses on teaching our community how to be better fisher people. The SWYC Anglers hold seminars, tournaments, award dinners, and fun events to bolster the fishing community.
SDCC Believes in Bolstering and Teaching Fishing to Kids
Fishing is a large facet of San Diego.
SDCC is a proud supporter of Fishing for Kids. With a tie to the Southwestern Yacht Club, we participate in helping to get kids interested in fishing. Teaching knots, styles, forms and helping young people master the trade is important to us.
As a IT partner to Southwestern Yacht Club, we help them support their annual Bottom Fishing Tournamnet to raise money for Friends of Rollo. Friends of Rollo is a non-profit charatible organization that thelps gets kids, underprivledge or not onto fishing charter boats.
Helping kids get out side and partake in activities is healthy. Going out fishing is wonderful activity for everyone.
